George was born in Belfast and has been devoted to drawing and painting from a very young age. After attending The Belfast College of Art, he went on to attain a successful career as a Graphic Designer and Artist in Belfast and Dublin, where he worked for many of the leading Advertising Agencies and Display and exhibition contractors.

On retiring from commercial artwork, George returned to his first love of painting and now enjoys working as a full time artist at his Dublin studio.

George has developed his own unique style of painting which has attracted the attention of art lovers and buyers both from Ireland and throughout the world. His art could be best described as abstract, and is inspired by a variety of Celtic themes.

As a member of Dublin’s Merrion Square Artists Group, George exhibits his latest works there every Sunday, where he enjoys meeting his admirers and patrons.
